It depends on the situation, personnel, strengths of the other team, etc. Both bring in the possibility of making an out to attempt to advance the runner. I'm on record that I probably would never bunt as a coach, but folks act like bunting is giving up. Sometimes it's the right play, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes trying to steal is the right play, just depends.

Trot was practicing with the football team and signed the day before classes started with the Red Sox. I believe he was 2nd on the depth chart to Terry Harvey at that time, but not sure on that one.
