Saw a former Pro5 kid who is medical Red Shirt this year at Indiana i spotted him at the Doak over the weekend but I have a feeling if he can play baseball again he will not be a Catcher anymore

He had back surgery !!! last fall was playing with a bulging disc most last year . What a beast surgery on his back and back on the field in 2 months starting to look good and consistant with power !!!

I think with Aidan West there's some legit worry but unless he just really wants to skip college we should probably be ok unless he has some massive movement between now and draft day (kinda like Walston a couple years ago). Kid is legit good so it could definitely happen.

Kinda the same with DeCarlo as HS C's ranked where he is typically aren't drafted unless they are a steal for the drafting team by signing super cheap. Like West, DeCarlo could make a jump and go. FLWolf has lots of sources in Tampa and at Jesuit, I believe. He would know.

CJ Gray, IMO, could be one to be worried about. He's got a huge arm, plays for a really bad team but he's not really flying under the radar with the scouts. Big big arm.

Could Johnson's size limit him? He's probably grown some as I have no idea if he's still in that 5'9 range but historically kids his size (and ranking) aren't getting drafted high enough to skip college. Kid can play so of course he could be an exception, for sure. Super fast.

I'm not sure I've seen anything that says we should be worried about Hemric or Harris at this point. Obviously that could change.

DeCarlo is coming - would be shocked. He is built like a college catcher and needs some work behind the plate. Family is all about getting an education.

He has had a pretty good year swinging the bat playing against an unreal schedule. He is catching a staff with all D1 committed pitchers hitting 91-95 (mostly Juniors).

I can see Gray, he is athletic as hell and teams love that kind of profile with HS pitchers.

The Pack is getting a good one with Sam Harris ('25). Great arm on the mound but has matured into one great young man on top of it. Nobody is going to outwork him. WPN will enjoy having Sam around.

Marohn has to get much better to be a Friday night guy, IMO. And Van Dam could be too valuable to pitch in the midweek, he needs to be a weekend starter or backend/multi inning guy.
