Our baseball NIL is in a pretty good spot as far as I know.

I personally give more to baseball than the other sports. Going up against teams that are able to offer full academic scholarships to baseball to get around the 11.7 rule, I figured it was the best way to maximize what relatively little I can give these days. There will always be teams offering guys stupid money, but I think we've shown we don't have to get those guys to get great players.

What is the reasoning for moving the draft back to mid July? It puts college teams in a bind trying to figure out who they need to replace. Puts the portal players in a bind as well.
That and they don't want it to happen during the Super Regionals

Someone talk me into this addition
played at a big time HS down in florida, one of the best in the country. really solid recruit, would have been 5th rated kid in our class last year, one spot behind Marohn in the national ranking. seemingly has big time power. 100mph exit velo while in HS. If Hart can unlock him, he is a 12-15 HR guy.

I almost slipped. Completely forgot Ossenfort hadn't announced. I like the pickup and don't think we are done, but imagine it slows a bit until the draft is over and we see the aftermath with our hs guys.
