I can see Dudan getting the Evan Justice treatment and given a shot to start. Hopefully he's more Nick Swiney as a starter than what we saw from Evan. Jacob MUST put on some weight and get thicker.


Peissel could be a midweek starter just as easily as he could be a Sunday guy for us.


Marohn and Coop make the most sense to take a weekend starting role IMO.

I can see giving Dudan a look as a starter to see if he can maintain his fastball/slider depth for longer amounts. His stuff just plays up so much more in the pen right now.
Yeah, I'm with you on this, for sure. I thought the same thing about Evan Justice, of course Nick Swiney made the move and was lights friggin' out.

If Dom comes back, that could make 3 lefties as your weekend dudes. Probably need at least one righty in there?

Ha I was thinking about this yesterday. Three lefty starters would be wild but we wont see it. I could see Dudan or another righty piggy backed by a lefty.

I almost move Dom to the pen with his control issues but I bet he doesn't hang around for that.

If you can put Head out there with Lewis and Thompson, that's some serious speed.

Looks like Lewis is getting tons of interest from other big time programs as well. If we're serious I'd hope being close to home would be big for him.

Boser would be a quality add. 12 HRs in 30 games this year, lots of pop.

This kid also has a Hart follow, haven't seen his name posted yet. Over 2 years of juco, .352 average, .444 OBP, 27 doubles, 52 stolen bases.

He's playing in the Northwood League this summer on the Kenosha team (IIRC).

I'm still keeping an eye on Luke Orfi, SS from Georgia Highlands. He's playing in the New England League summer league this summer. Kid had a monster season.

I wonder if we're waiting (and some of the JUCO kids as well) on the draft to see if we need to make a move at SS. Like James (I think it was James) pointed out, Luke Nixon could be an option a short if Butters does get drafted and ultimately signs.

That's on me, i'll be better about staying on top of things. (but for real, nice work).

Orfi would be my top choice if I had my pick, just looks to have the a different level to him. He is also hitting .368 this summer with 5 stolen bases.

I am under the impression that Butterworth is gone (even though I want him back) so will be interesting to see where they slot in Luke next year.

Prep Baseball Report has Orfi listed as committed to Clemson in their list of top JUCO prospects. That sucks. haha

Also started following small school kid, LHP Chris Torres out of D3 Eastern Connecticut State. Apparently it's a pretty good D3 program having won a natty 2 years ago and 5 overall titles.

To hear what Auburn, Tex A&M, JSU, Miss St and TX are offering kids, it is amazing that we go as far as we do I think you will see more separation from the SEC in baseball They are locking up their kids and aggressively going after top freshmen.

At Auburn, the founder of Yellawood is dumping a ton of money in Auburn baseball and football. He wants Auburn to be a bigger player in baseball They went after Jamie Arnold at FSU but FSU locked his up to a monster deal

Hart's ability is well known and he will be the manager in 2025-2026

I am amazed we have been able to keep him to be honest. Dude is super loyal.

But if Chris Hart wants you it means you can rake. He has proven time and time again he can evaluate hitters and project them at a super young age.
