Recruits Sound Off On Wolfpack Win Over Florida State
NC State hosted numerous top prospects on Saturday night who witnessed the Wolfpack’s exciting 19-17 come-from-behind win over Florida State. Inside Pack Sports caught up with several of them to see what they thought of the Wolfpack and the gameday experience.
2026 Suwanee (GA) S Syr Hunter- “The game was awesome and the environment was electric!! I loved seeing #WPN cheering on the Pack for four quarters. Carter-Finley was the place to be and there was not any other place I would have rather been! The game was action packed. I loved the energy the defense brought.”
2024 Waxhaw (NC) Cutherbertson WR Keenan Jackson - “I thought it was a great game and an electric atmosphere. It was good catching up with Coach Philips, and overall I just had a great visit.”
2024 Charlotte (NC) Providence Day S Brody Barnhardt- “It was great…it was actually my first gameday there…the energy in the stadium was awesome from start to finish. We didn’t get to go down on the field before the game because of the lighting issue and didn’t get to see the light show which I was really looking forward to, but everything else was great.
“I talked with coach Doeren for a little bit and caught up with Coach Gibson, Coach Defo, and Coach Mitchell….. these guys are one of the main reasons NC State is one of my top schools! It was great to see them come out with the W!”
2024 Cornelius (NC) Hough OL Eagan Boyer- “That was a great game to be at. The game was great and the crowd was even better.”
2024 Nashville (TN) ATH Ondre Evans- “The game was great. It was a good matchup and the coaches went into that game with a plan and the players executed it and didn’t give up. The atmosphere was great; all of the fans and student sections were engaged. I loved it.”
2023 New Bern (NC) DL Keith Sampson Jr.- “I had great time. The atmosphere was good.”
2024 Greensboro (NC) Grimsley WR Alex Taylor - “The game was great and the atmosphere was amazing. It was a great crowd and the team overcame adversity which was great to see. Just a great game overall.”
2024 Norcross (GA) CB Jivan Baly- “The overall game was a tight one -- two good teams going head to head, making great plays. I loved the atmosphere at NC State; it was packed out and loud and jumping from the start of the game till the end. I really see myself playing there for real. I have a great bond with the coaches there. It just felt like home, to be real. I fit in real easy!”
