On his shooting..
I think shooting it at game speed, I shoot further out in practice now. Yeah, I mean definitely like I said, just working on my shot selection, working on getting into my spots was definitely the biggest thing I try to particularly get. And then also I'm always working on defense, trying to be a defensive player.

What's the excitement level going into this season, you would say?
What's the excitement? It's always exciting at this time of the year, I think. We just got to be consistent with the excitement. We definitely keep it up, but I definitely, like I said, this team is excited. We're looking forward to playing in front of our fans with this new group. We had an excellent time in the Bahamas playing with each other, so we're definitely looking forward to it. We have to keep the momentum.

How long did it take for it to become a normal, now you guys know each other and such?
It didn't take long because we kind of had those 10 practices over the summer to prepare for the Bahamas, and then when we were there we played two challenging, two tough games that kind of pushed us and tested our chemistry early.

So from that experience, we had no other option but to really grow and figure each other out fast. So each day we're getting better and better. We're growing more and more, so we'd like, we just got to keep stacking days.

If you look at the ACC last season, people project obviously a lot of teams that may were projected down, finish up, and it's hard to really project it. It's easier, I would say, do you think it's easier maybe to make that big, large jump in this scenario where the ACC is now? Or is it more of a methodical approach?
Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I never, in projections the ACC’s always wide-open man. Who would've thought V-Tech would've won the ACC last year?

It's always, it's a wide-open conference. It's all about who's going to be the most consistent with the little things, who values the details, who's going to get that big stop when you need it? That's really what it comes down to. It's not too big of the most talented team brings, it's all about chemistry and it's all about getting stops when you need it.

So we have the talent to do it for sure, but every team has the talent to do it in this conference. It's all about who's going to do what it takes.

How appealing is that to go out day in, day out? You're playing against the best, I mean, how appealing is that for you as a competitor?
It's great. It's great. There's always opportunity to... it gives you a better opportunity to actually make it in March, honestly. Which is good because your competition's so high, but it helps you, it definitely tests your team every night. Every area of the program is always being tested and evaluated. So it's fun, man. I enjoy.

Is anyone new with State that maybe you would recommend to fans say, Okay, keep your eye on this guy?
Oh yeah. My boy, Jack Clark... Silk. He's... he does it all. He can play the wing, he can play inside, has an excellent shot... put on the floor. He's explosive, and can guard one through five.

So probably Jack, he has the most... me personally, I know I'm most excited about Jack.
