“Yeah, the coaches emphasized that there’s strain in every rep, so they want us to go as hard as we possibly [can] to definitely make it easier on game day on Saturdays.”
“As we’ve been going over in our meetings, we’ve just got to practice harder, and everything will carry over to Saturday. That’s why we practice as hard as we can. The emphasis is practicing harder, straining every rep. It makes the reps on Saturday much easier.”
“I’ve got to block better, have a better blocking technique, like I said [earlier], strain every rep, go hard every rep, and possibly create big runs in the run game and in the passing game.”
“A win is a win, so you take the win, but you also learn from that win. I’m glad that we got the W, but we can actually learn from that win instead of it being an L. We can learn from it, go over our mistakes, and fix it.”
“[Devin Leary’s] mentality is always locked in and focused. It’s also the people around him. It’s not just him. We’re a team as an offense. We make him look good; he makes us look good. We all have to play together and play as a unit, and that’ll make everyone play well.”
“My role’s expanded by making the plays that come my way and encouraging my teammates. I make plays. My teammates make plays. It’s a team thing, not just about me. I’m just a team player. I make the plays that come my way and just keep going like that."
