COMMIT ALERT: Four-Star Safety Daemon Fagan Picks NC State
NC State just landed a commitment from American Heritage (FL) four-star safety Daemon Fagan.
Fagan is a coveted prospect. Starting now two years for American Heritage High School, one of the best programs in the country, he holds over 30 offers from programs such as Ohio State, Miami, Florida State, NC State, and LSU.
Earlier in June he was in Las Vegas leading his South Florida Express squad to the 18-under 7-on-7 title in Overtime’s inaugural OT7 League, an event that featured reportedly over 100 Power Five prospects.
“It was great,” Fagan said of the event. “The experiences, playing at a national level and having our team recognized as the best... I think we proved we’re No. 1 in the nation.”
He took his NC State official visit in June.
“The highlight I'd say was the campus tour and just being around the coaches,” he said. “That was it, the coaches. With them, I think it's the most genuine coaching staff I’ve been around so far. That means a lot to me because college is going to be my home away from home. It's a constant communication between them. I can say they are recruiting me the hardest, 100 percent.”
