COMMIT ALERT: Legacy Recruit Charlie Symonds Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Watertown (CT) The Taft School offensive tackle Charlie Symonds‍.

Symonds picked NC State over offers from Stanford, Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Cal, Maryland, Michigan State, Wake Forest, and Virginia, among others.

At 6-foot-8 and 280 pounds, Symonds projects to play offensive tackle for the Wolfpack.

He is the son of former NC State kicker Toby Symonds.

Symonds was on campus this past weekend for his official visit and committed to the Wolfpack coaches on Wednesday.

He is NC State’s fourth commitment in the 2023 class and the first out-of-state pickup.
