1. People are saying that Avent/Boo/Randy did not handle getting kicked out last year well. Really pressed the issue in Omaha (as they should have) that wasn't really public and that the NCAA didn't take kindly to that considering they had their "rules & regulations" published beforehand.
2. "Every year someone gets left out" Cmon James. Sure every year in every postseason someone gets left out. But this isn't the same. Aaron Fitt, National D1 Baseball writer, said that not selecting NC State was the biggest snub he can ever remember in his 18 years of covering college baseball. Kendall Rogers said he's so pissed and full of hate for the people that run this that his interest is lacking, he's not filling out a bracket, and he is picking NC State to win back to back titles. This isn't "oh well they were a bubble team and got left out". We were the NCAA Basketball equivalent of a 6 seed non bubble team that got left out.
3. The committee absolutely should have someone from the ACC on it. No question there. But cmon, we have to have someone sticking up for the ACC in the room in order for the committee to make the right decisions and put the right teams in? That's a joke. If anything it just made it easier to pull off something that some people on the committee knew was wrong but others were uninformed and were swayed.
4. I get what you're saying James that it seems far fetched that they took it out on State. But there's just too many examples of the Suits at the NCAA taking the opportunity to stick it to NC State. Whether they have some type of vendetta because they haven't been able to pin us with things they think we did, or don't like how we've interacted with them, or someone has it out for Randy, or they just find us weak and not a big brand so find it easier to snub NC State repeatedly than going after UNC, Texas, USC, Ohio State, ND, etc. $$$. There's too much going on right now to simply just take it and say "oh well, they were just this year's snub". Bridgeport? That was a disaster. Omaha last year? Disaster. They know this will eventually simmer down and they never have to really answer for anything, but it feels targeted for sure.
