Knight, Emezie, And Person Agree To Free Agent Deals
NC State offensive standouts Zonovan Knight, Emeka Emezie, and Ricky Person have signed free agent deals following the 2022 NFL Draft.
Running back Zonovan Knight has agreed to a deal with the New York Jets.
Knight led NC State in rushing in all three of his seasons with the Wolfpack. He finished his career with the top yards per carry average in Wolfpack career history (for players with a minimum of 200 attempts).
Look for him to impact on special teams in the NFL. Knight was a first-team All-ACC return specialist after averaging 34 yards per kick return – the top mark in the Power 5. He became just the second player in school history to post two 100-yard kickoff returns for his career this season.
Star receiver Emeka Emezie has agreed to a free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Emezie stated following his Pro Day he had the most discussions thus far with the Ravens.
Emezie was a second-team All-ACC selection after a season that saw him set a Wolfpack career record for receptions. He tallied six touchdown receptions for the year, including two in his final game against North Carolina.
Joining Emezie in Baltimore will be running back Ricky Person, who has also agreed to a deal with the Ravens.
Person finished his career averaging 4.3 yards per carry and with 14 career touchdowns.
