COMMIT ALERT: Ole Miss Transfer Jarkel Joiner Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Ole Miss transfer guard Jarkel Joiner‍, who was on campus this week for an official visit.

The Oxford (MS) native was recruited back to Ole Miss from Cal-State Bakersfield by NC State assistant Levi Watkins.

An All-WAC first-team selection at Cal State Bakersfield, Joiner spent two seasons at Ole Miss.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder is expected to contribute right away for the Wolfpack as a playmaking guard who is very good defensively.  He averaged 13.2 points and 3.0 rebounds with 2.3 assists this past season while leading the Rebels in scoring.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
