COMMIT ALERT: 4-Star TE Javonte Vereen Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Havelock (NC) four-star tight end Javonte Vereen‍, who announced the decision at a press conference at his high school.

Vereen picked NC State over offers from Georgia, Maryland, Louisville, Duke, and Boston College, among others.

“I just feel like it’s home,” Vereen said of NC State.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is considered a top-ten prospect in the state in the 2023 class.
