NC State wide receiver Emeka Emezie met the media shortly after the Wolfpack's annual Pro Day, and he discussed his recent discussions with teams, Pro Day performance, and much more.

“I’m just working very hard, controlling what you can control. Just enjoying everyday... it’s kind of a different lifestyle. You’re kind of on your own a little bit, but I’ve been enjoying it.”

“I just take whatever God gives me as a blessing. I know what I’ve done... I’m confident in who I am, regardless.”

“There’s a lot of undrafted guys or whatever the case may be are good at football... I try not to look so much at other people.”

“Just don’t try to compare your path to others. Some people run 4.3s and can't play football.  Some run 4.7s and are the best football players in the world. Just be a good football player, be a good person, No. 1, and go from there.”

“I don’t know [what I ran in the 40].”

“I’ve been talking to the Falcons a lot, the Ravens.  Just different teams, I think the Falcons is No. 1... I’ve had a couple of meetings.”

“I hear a lot of different things... you just have to do what you have to do.”

“It was amazing. He’s a top quarterback in the nation for sure.”

“I was training in California at the sports academy and I was training here.”

“[NC State] has been perfect.  I wouldn’t change anything. I’d always wanted to go to Carolina, which is the worst part of all that.  I always wanted to go to Carolina for the longest, and then I go here, and that’s the best thing that happened, coming here. Live life, stay patient. You may not get it the way you want, and then you wait a few years and see that you’re blessed.”

“A lot of people have seen that game.”

“I wasn't able to do spring ball or fall ball so being able to stay the course.”

“Life rocks you, but if you stay the course, everything is going to work out for you.”

“I want to get into coaching, but I’ve been getting into more mental health.”
