NC State Guard Cam Hayes Will Transfer

NC State sophomore guard Cam Hayes has entered the transfer portal.

Hayes began the season as the Wolfpack’s starting point guard but was demoted as league play began and never really seemed to find a consistent role.

He averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 33.5% from the field and 25% from three-point range.

Hayes is eligible to play right away after transferring and could have three years of eligibility remaining.  He is the second NC State player to enter the portal, joining forward Jaylon Gibson.
