Seven NC State Players Named To The All-ACC Academic Team
Seven members of the NC State football team have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the conference.
• DT Cory Durden (Post-Baccalaureate Studies – 3.222 Fall GPA). On the field in his first season with the Pack, Durden was named an All-ACC first-team selection on the defensive line.
• P Trenton Gill (Professional Communication and Managerial Skills grad program – 3.834 Fall GPA). Gill led the ACC in punting average for the second time in his career, he was named and All-ACC first-team selection at punter.
• C Grant Gibson (Management – 3.185 Fall GPA). The Pack's starting center, he was a third-team All-ACC selection.
• DE Daniel Joseph (Liberal Studies – 3.667 Fall GPA). In his final season with the Pack, started all 12 contests and led all defensive linemen with 46 tackles, six sacks and nine tackles for loss.
• OG Dylan McMahon (Business Administration - 3.417 GPA). Started all 12 contests at guard for the Pack's offense.
• LB Isaiah Moore (Youth Development and Leadership – 3.334 Fall GPA). Limited to just seven games on the field in 2021, is expected to make a full return for 2022.
• LS Joe Shimko (Sport Management – 3.0 Fall GPA). Has handled every special teams snap each of the past three seasons.
