On what the play out of timeout was supposed to be...
SEABRON: I was about to get it and then set a screen for me to try to get to the basket to score, look for the drive and kick or get to the free throw line.
On the second-to-last possession when he had the ball in transition...
SEABRON: I feel like I probably could have made something happen there in transition because I feel like they weren’t matched up. They were just running back, they didn’t really have a play. But calling timeout gave them time to set up their defense and made it hard for us to get the ball in.
On Smith’s big game from three-point range...
SMITH: I’ve just got a high level of confidence and I know my teammates believe in me just like I believe in them.
On consistently not being able to close out games...
SEABRON: It’s very frustrating because I just feel like we’re right there every game. It just comes down to a couple mental breakdowns, whether it’s missed block outs or 50/50 balls. We’ve just got to find out how to close out games.
On making sure team morale stays high...
SEABRON: We’ve just got to stay positive and keep putting in the work. Go back in practice and keep getting better. Work on the things we’ve been struggling at right now, like defensive rebounding, and getting 50/50 balls and just need to stay positive and know that we’re gonna get over the hump.
