On playing inside Reynolds Coliseum...
It’s a great atmosphere. Reynolds is smaller than PNC, so it feels like there are many more people. Everybody being closer to the court makes it feel like everyone is more in tune with the game.
On goals outside of the obvious of winning the game...
The first thing is to get back on track. We took a loss against Louisville, and we wanted to get back in the win column. We also wanted to come out and make a statement against a team we should beat.
On tonight’s performance...
I feel like we played better in the second half. In the first half, we were sloppy, and we blew a couple of defensive assignments, but in the second half, we finished the game strong. It all started on defense. Offensively, we were not settling in, so we started sharing the ball more.

It feels good, and I enjoy playing in Reynolds. It’s more compact, and it gets very loud. It’s an overall good experience. I’ve played here during the state championship. It’s a good feeling.
On gaining confidence...
Right now, I’m feeding off of my teammates. Dereon’s scoring and getting rebounds, and they’ve been keying in on stopping him. I feed off what he and everyone else are doing while playing my own game. I’m adjusting more to the college game. For me, it’s nothing but up from here. It’s going to be fun.
