REPORT: QB Devin Leary Will Return For 2022

Per a report in The Fayetteville Observer Devin Leary‍  will return for his junior season. Leary helped lead NC State to a 9-3 record, including a thrilling, come from behind win over rival UNC in the season finale.

Leary told reporter David Thompson of the USA Today Network, "I know there is a lot more on the table that I can do next year and that's where I'm going to be," said Leary, who spoke to the USA Today Network while visiting his hometown of Sicklerville, N.J. "I'm going to be at N.C. State next year. I'm going to get to reflect on everything I did this year and continue to get better in the offseason so I can lay it all on the line next season."

Leary emerged in 2021 as one of the nation’s top quarterbacks, throwing for 3,433 yards and 35 touchdowns with just five interceptions.
