On if he had been in a four-overtime game before...

My senior year of high school, the state championship went into two overtimes, but I’ve never been in a four-overtime game.

On if he is tired...

I think my adrenaline is rushing. I don’t really feel it.

On if he knew how many minutes he played...

I don’t know how many minutes I played. I was just out there playing trying to win the game.

On emotions and momentum during the Wolfpack’s 14-0 run during second half...

It was nice seeing it from the sideline. I like when my teammates are succeeding, but then again I wanted to be on the floor. I know that, at the time, my knee was hurting, but I just had to push through it so I could get back out there and finish out the game.

On his injury in second half...

In transition, I was going to rip and beat him to the spot. We just ran into each other and hit my patellar tendon, so it is really sensitive.

On if his experience playing point guard in high school helped him tonight...

I really like playing with the ball in my hands. I know that I can make plays whether it’s me scoring or just finding an open man. In the second overtime, I felt like no one on the court could stop me from getting to the rim.

On being the older guy on the court during the overtime periods...

When we were out there on the court, I wasn’t paying attention. I was focused on trying to get the win. I was the vet out there. I’m trying to be more vocal, be a better teammate, and bring my young guys along.

On what the win and the effort could do for the team moving forward...

It can definitely boost our confidence. It just shows Coach [Kevin] Keatts that we will never quit. We will keep fighting until the clock says zero. It’s good for us, especially going into the conference game with Louisville on Saturday.

On his emotions when the clock hit zero and the game finally ended...

I was really happy that we came out on top with the win. I was tired, but I wasn't thinking about it.

Ebenezer Dowuona

On his eight blocks tonight...

I think that is the most blocks I have ever had. I take pride in defense. I go in hoping to break the record every day. I had seven last time, that was my career high and today I had 8. I am looking forward to getting better.

On the sequence with Bryce McGowens at the end of the game...

It’s just all work. I feel like, at that point, everybody was tired, so I felt like no other person was going to push harder, and that’s what I did. I was successful at that.

On his offensive ability...

I work on my offense every day. It’s going to come naturally. I'm not trying to force it. Right now, I’m focusing on my role as a big and just getting better every day.

On his emotions when the clock hit zero and the game finally ended...

It felt great. It was a lot of hard work. It felt great to have won after going through all that. It was just a good win.
