Lock me in for another year.”
NC State defensive tackle Cory Durden revealed his intentions to return for the 2022 season on social media Tuesday afternoon.
The Newberry, Fla. native posted on his Instagram (@16_shotzz) a highlight video along with a graphic that served as his return notice, punctuated with the caption, “Cut the beat back on....“
Durden has been the Pack’s starting nose tackle for the past seven games, dating back to NC State’s road contest versus Boston College on Oct. 16. He’s recorded 31 total tackles in 2021 thus far, including 3.5 sacks for a loss of 14 yards, while hurrying opposing quarterbacks seven times.
