Funderburk: "I Found What I Was Looking For"

A Top 50 prospect out of high school, Derek Funderburk enrolled at Ohio State in 2016 but redshirted as a true freshman.  He was expected to play a big role this year for the Buckeyes but a series of events led to him being dismissed from Ohio State and at Northwest Florida State College.

The plan for him was to play this season as a reshirt freshman and enroll at the school of his choice next year with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
