Several members of the Inside Pack Sports staff predict the winner of the NC State-Louisiana Tech matchup.

State 35, La. Tech 21
I believe La. Tech is a solid team capable of winning this game, so it won’t be easy. However, the difference should be the Wolfpack’s defense, which has been terrific through four games, while the Bulldog defense has struggled.

As an NC State fan this is a game that scares you to death. You're not playing a Furman where you could basically sleepwalk through the game and still win. Louisiana Tech has shown they're more than capable of winning this game if State doesn't show up. However, I don't think that's going to happen. I believe the culture and leadership of this team is going to show up and the Pack is going to win handily.
Bryant Carson (IPS Football Analyst)
State 41, Louisiana Tech 31
NC State 41-31. I think this one is close all the way with LA Tech coming to play while the Wolfpack comes out sluggish. Ultimately, the Pack pulls away by the late third/early fourth in a game that’s too close for comfort most of the way.
Phillip Danford (IPS Football Analyst)
State 37, Louisiana Tech 21
All week we've talked about and heard how this could be a letdown spot for the Wolfpack. But, is that too on the nose? While the NC State offense may take a drive or two to get their bearings, I expect the defense to pick up where they left off.
As long as they can limit the big play that Louisiana Tech so covets, I don't think this is an offense that can consistently march up and down the field. I predict Louisiana Tech will cover, but I think it's going to be of the backdoor variety.
Ethan Barry (IPS Writer)
State 42, Louisiana Tech 24
The Pack has historically done well after big wins with Dave Doeren, and I expect that to continue. La Tech will challenge the defense a little bit, but I suspect Devin Leary has the biggest game of his career statistically. This is a great set up schedule wise after the Clemson game, and I think State will benefit from that this week.

I think this is a game where the Wolfpack builds a big lead through the first three quarters and maybe rotates some depth players in in the fourth.
I think an NC State defense that's been phenomenal so far will be able to shut the Bulldogs down, and the offense will be able to move the ball and score plenty of points. The Pack shouldn't have much of an issue here.
Daniel Wilson (IPS Writer)
State 38, Louisiana Tech 17
After a pivotal win for the Wolfpack last week, NC State should return to non-conference play as strong as it was before. Though La. Tech won’t be a pushover, the Pack should roll with the win at home before the pre-road-trip layoff.
