Locker Room Report: Wolfpack Players

Al Freeman, Torin Dorn, and Sam Hunt met with the media after the Charleston Southern win.

Senior Guard Al Freeman
"I think that's going to be a lot of team's gameplan against us... slow the game down."

"We want to speed the game up, get deflections, get steals, and get out in transition."

"It definitely helps. It gives guys like Lennard, Darius, and Omer opportunities to get one-on-one opportunities on the block."

"I'm just out there playing. I have great teammates, guys like Sam Hunt, Markell, Lavar, TD... our bigs.  All of those guys are doing great."

"That's what he do.  [Sam Hunt is] a sniper.  He can light it up, he can get hot.  One of the games we had in Italy he had almost 40... 11 3's or something like that."

"We all try to play aggressive, get downhill, take shots."

"We just play, there's not too much thinking out there. We just hoop."

"On offense we just play for each other, go out there and hoop."

"It's basketball season  and we love the games. We'll get all these reps early and get a chance to play against other people and work on our stuff."

"Every single game is an opportunity to get better."

"When we go to the Bahamas we don't know what the schedule is going to be like... you have to be able to play at all times."

"We started to click a little bit on defense in the last four minutes."

"All I could really do is thank my teamates for that."

"We have to come out with effort and intensity throughout the whole game and not get sluggish."

"It's better to learn from a win than it is from a loss."

"We have to bring it the whole game for 20 minutes each half."

"I think we have to play with more energy and that will pick the pace up."

"We weren't as aggressive as we could have been."

"It's great to win but there's a lot of things we can get better at."
