Commit Darius Edmundson Now Planning On 2021 Enrollment

Louisburg College (NC) defensive back Darius Edmundson‍, a NC State commitment, is now planning on enrolling at NC State for the fall semester.  He informed IPS that he recently firmed up those plans with the Wolfpack coaching staff.

Originally projected to be a 2022 enrollee, Edmundson will have four years left to play four seasons at NC State. 

Edmundson, who is completing his final summer school courses at Louisburg, is being recruited as a defensive back.

“Coach Doeren said I could play all of the defensive back spots,” he previously stated.   “I think I could play any position that they want me to... strong safety, nickel, corner, pretty much do it all just depending on where they need me. But coach DeForest told me he thought I could play safety and I could be a really, really good safety.”
