Daniel Joseph Selected No. 4 Overall In 2021 CFL Draft

NC State senior defensive end Daniel Joseph was selected No. 4 overall by the BC Lions Football Club in the 2021 Canadian Football Draft.

A Toronto native, Joseph transferred from Penn State to NC State prior to the 2020 season and led the Wolfpack with 6.5 sacks and was third on the team with 10.0 tackles for a loss.

Joseph’s cousin, Ese Mrabure-Ajufo, was a first round selection of the BC Lions in the 2015 draft, and his brother, Faith Ekakitie, was picked No. 1 overall in the 2017 draft.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder will complete his eligibility at NC State this fall.
