COMMIT ALERT: Bey Picks NC State

NC State landed a commitment from four-star wing Saddiq Bey, one of the top prospects on the Wolfpack's board.

Bey was in Raleigh for his official visit when the Wolfpack faced Louisville and was impressed with the school.

"It went really well," Bey said of the visit.  "I really liked it.  Coach Keatts and coach Hamilton were great...they showed me a really good time. I liked the atmosphere of the school, the fans...I liked everything about it.

"The vibe was great.  The school is strong and on the basketball side, coach Keatts stressed that I was a priority for them."

Bey is being recruited to play on the wing, but he could be a small-ball four-man for the Wolfpack given his size and versatility.

He took official visits to Xavier, Pittsburgh, Miami, and NC State prior to picking the Wolfpack.

Bey is NC State's fourth commitment in the 2018 class, joining four-star prospects Ian Steere, Manny Bates, and Jericole Hellems.
