NC State has been beset by injuries at multiple positions this year, but, aided by extra preparation in fall camp, young players all across the depth chart have stepped up to the plate.

While the team is about to face a huge test following the loss of its starting quarterback, Devin Leary, to a fractured fibula, there’s little doubt that No. 23 NC State football has had a great start to the season. 

Aside from Leary’s heroics and some other playmakers on offense, some of the biggest catalysts for the Wolfpack’s 4-1 start have been the defense and offensive line, despite the depth of both units being tested time and again.
