Young, opportunistic Wolfpack defense steps up to the plate

Looking strictly at the 38-21 score from NC State’s second consecutive road win over Virginia Saturday, one might think it was another high-flying game for Devin Leary and the Wolfpack’s offense. But that was far from the case. 

After a quick start to the game, Leary and NC State’s offense struggled to move the ball in the second half. Instead, it was the defense that came through all day, making big play after big play.
