COMMIT ALERT: 4-Star Standout Chase Hattley Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Cary (NC) Panther Creek four-star safety Chase Hattley‍.

Hattley picked the Wolfpack over offers from Oklahoma, South Carolina, Florida State, Wake Forest, Boston College, and West Virginia, among others.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder was an unknown in the spring but quickly added offers after sending out his film to colleges.

Known for his playmaking ability, Hattley recorded nine interceptions in 2019 while also totaling 29 tackles from his safety position.

He is NC State’s 20^th commitment in the 2021 recruiting class.
