COMMIT ALERT: 4-Star LB Jordan Poole Picks NC State
NC State has landed a huge commitment from West Stanly (NC) four-star linebacker Jordan Poole.
Poole picked NC State over a dozen offers from programs such as Florida State, Virginia Tech, and South Carolina, among others.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder is regarded as one of the top players in North Carolina.

Poole has been a top target for NC State since earning an offer last summer.
“I just have that family vibe at State that you’re looking for,” Poole previously said of the Wolfpack. “State also has a good track record for putting out great players, especially coach Gibson. He has put out a lot of good linebackers and has a great track record, and their scheme really fits my game... how well I play in space. Plus, I have some family ties there, too.”
Poole is considered by 247 to be the state’s top linebacker, and he is NC State’s 17th commitment in the 2021 class.
