Lyndon Cooper plays tackle and guard for his high school team.

The Pack has had a lot of success recently recruiting players with the makeup and recruiting profile of Cooper... think Tony Adams, Josh Fedd-Jackson, and Zach Allen.  Cooper is a clone of all three of those former multi-year Wolfpack starters.

Extremely physical with heavy hands, Cooper is dynamite in the run game, and he should slot in nicely at right guard.  He is also proficient in pass blocking, and while he doesn’t have the physical upside to justify a high recruiting ranking, Cooper certainly has a high floor as a prospect.

Allen, Adams, and Fedd-Jackson weren’t tabbed elite recruits, but all three players were valuable contributors.  Look for Cooper to potentially do the same.

He is NC State’s third offensive line commitment and should form a nice combo in the interior with Thornton Gentry.
