COMMIT ALERT: Sean Brown Makes It Official
Cornelius (NC) Hough defensive back Sean Brown just announced his commitment to NC State.
The talented defender had nearly two dozen offers from programs such as Louisville, Missouri, Michigan State, Wake Forest, and App State, among others.
In the end, he chose to stay in-state at NC State.
“I visited for junior day and I liked the facilities and I like what I see,” Brown previously said of the Wolfpack. “It just feels like home, like a second home. Me and coach McDonald, we talk either once or twice a week. He’ll call and check up on me and see how I’m doing.
Brown will join his high school teammate, Mario Love, in the defensive backfield as Love is also committed in the 2021 class.
“Mario (Love) is committed there and he talks to me all the time,” Brown said. “He just tells me how much the coaches really want me.”
A consensus three-star recruit, the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is expected to play safety for the Wolfpack.
He is NC State’s 12th commitment in the 2021 class and the Wolfpack’s eighth in-state addition.
Inside Pack Sports will have more shortly from Brown on his decision!
