COMMIT ALERT: Thornton Gentry picks NC State

Chapin (SC) offensive lineman Thornton Gentry has committed to NC State.

Gentry picked the Wolfpack over offers from Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Syracuse and others.

He visited Raleigh for a game in the Fall, then received an offer in January, and has been at the top of the board since. Gentry is the seventh commitment for the Wolfpack and second offensive lineman after Jaleel Davis pledged earlier in the week.

NC State has recruited Gentry as an interior offensive lineman.
