COMMIT ALERT: Jaleel Davis Picks NC State
NC State just landed a commitment from Richmond County (NC) offensive lineman Jaleel Davis.
Davis attended junior day in Raleigh in January and received an offer while visiting. He is also teammates with fellow NC State commitment, Jakolbe Baldwin.
He is a consensus three star prospect and was ranked 42nd in the state by IPS.
Davis holds offers from Tennessee, NC State, South Carolina, and Maryland, among others, and is a player we believe NC State has extremely high on their recruiting board. He's not rated as high across the state, but he's another player the staff has had at multiple camps and feels comfortable/confident about based on the evaluations.
The state is loaded this year on the offensive line, and I believe State has Davis near the top of the group.
“I talk a lot with coach Goebbel and coach Garrison, and they are telling me how I'm a priority for them. I like how they treat me, and it feels like home up there,” Davis recently told IPS.
