D.J. Funderburk and Devon Daniels Will Go Through NBA Draft Process
NC State head coach Kevin Keatts confirmed today that redshirt juniors D.J. Funderburk and Devon Daniels will enter the NBA draft to receive feedback from NBA teams.
“D.J. Funderburk and also Devon Daniels will both go through the NBA process to figure out their status,” Keatts informed the media this afternoon. “They will learn a lot more about what the NBA folks think about them. They will take the feedback and make an informed decision.
“It’s important they get as much feedback as they can. During their meetings we talked about filling out the information and getting back as much feedback as you can.”
Funderburk, a 6-foot-10 forward, averaged 12.8 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 58.6% from the field. Daniels, a 6-foot-5 guard, averaged 12.7 points and 5.3 rebounds. He shot 47% from the field and 32% from three-point range.
Both players have until April 26th to officially enter their name into the NBA Draft and must withdraw before 5pm on June 15th.
