What have you learned about yourself and the game?
Just to never be satisfied and improve every single day.
We have to get better as a whole. Being able to prepare myself, mentally and physically, I feel like that’s a really big step I need to take.
Also, being able to break down film and watch film so I’ll go into the game prepared.
What is the biggest area you felt you needed to improve this offseason?
I’d say building more command, getting more comfortable within the offense... defensive recognition.
Just being able to recognize defenses better and having a plan going in... pre-snap, being able to know what to do with the ball before I catch it.
Is there a different feel coming into camp as the No. 1 guy?
For me, I don’t really look at it that way because in our QB room we work together. We work the same way, we watch the same film.
We’re all moving collectively together... all working to the same goal.
