“I’m not going to get up here and tell you guys anything that isn’t true. I’m going to be 100 percent with you every single time. We’re not worried. It was a very tough loss for us tonight. I felt like we played hard, but we didn’t pay attention to the details. Like I said, we’re not worried. We’re going to get back in practice, and we’re going to get better.”
“He hit some tough shots. He hit some where we were scrambling out of the press. He hit some when guys were helping him in the corner. The next time we play them, we’ll make sure that we keep a man on him at all times.”
“It’s a very good team, but I wouldn’t have said it’s a good enough team to come into our home arena and beat us by 20. It’s something that we’re definitely going to take very seriously. We’re going to get better, like I said. We’re not worried. We’ve got to get back to practice, and that’s something we’re looking forward to doing.”
“It’s a marathon. We’re going to have stretches. We just came off a three-game win stretch, and now we’re on a three-game losing stretch. It’s a grind. I actually learned something. When you’re getting better and your productivity is going up, it’s never going to be straight up. It’s going to be up and down the whole time. That’s what’s going on with this team right now. We’re still getting better every single day. I’m proud of these guys, and we’re going to continue to get better.”
“We’re at Miami next week. We beat them the first time around, and we’re looking forward to getting that one and getting back on a winning stretch.”
“Energy. We had a lot of energy. We were down 15 going into the half, and we just wanted to come out with a lot of energy on the defensive end. We just didn’t pay attention to the small details. They have a lot of plays that they run, so you have to dog them on defense. It’s all about the process, and we’ll get better from it."
Devon Daniels
“We’ve just got to keep on working. We’ve got to keep on staying together. All of know that we have to put in work, practice really hard, and watch the film. Now it’s just about putting all of it together and knocking out a run. We had a three-game winning streak, and now we’re on a losing streak. We’ve just got to focus on the next game and do what we have to do to win the game.”
“I wouldn’t say we’re worried, but at the same time, we know that we have to get back on track. In this conference, you’re never really out of it because it’s such a tough conference. We’ve got to start winning game, and we’ve got to start making big shots.”
“We always play with a sense of urgency, but like you said, it is coming down to the last half of the games, so we’ve got to get it going. The most we can do for our next game is to watch film, work on our offense, work on our defense, and, when the next game comes, just follow the game plan.”
“I just feel like we’ve got to stick together. We’re not really focused right now. We can’t look too far ahead, and we can’t look too far behind. We’ve just got to take tomorrow to go over this game, see what we can do differently, and then get ready for the next game."

“Just don’t let them get any open looks. Of course, we gave a couple away, and he hit his shots. He’s a great shooter.”
“I don’t know what it says about them. They’re a great team overall. We just didn’t pay attention to the scouting report. That’s all.”
“We just need to get in the gym, get ready for Miami on the road, play a tough team in Miami, and come out of there with a win.”
“It’s not just me. It’s all of us. We all just have to work on it. I don’t really have too much to say on that.”
“I think he just came out here and hit a couple of shots. He was 6-for-6 in the first half. Some of them were contested, some of them were open, but we’ve just got to focus on keeping the hot hand off of the ball.”
“It’s always frustrating losing a game, but it’s a basketball game at the end of the day. I’m just ready to go home, relax, come back, and work hard to get ready for Miami.”
“We were just hitting shots. At the end of the game, we just weren’t hitting shots, and they were."
Markell Johnson
“We’re just not hitting shots right now. We’re getting great looks, getting looks that usually hit. They’re just not getting knocked down right now. It’s just on us to get back in the lab, get back on the right track, and proceed on with the season.”
“I don’t even want to go back and think on that. Moving forward, we’ve just got to be locked in from here on out."
