COMMIT ALERT: Claude Larkins Makes It Official To NC State

NC State added another key piece to the class of 2020 puzzle today when the Pack landed a commitment from Hollywood (FL) Chaminade defensive end Claude Larkins‍.

“I chose NC State because I think that program will make me more successful on and off the field. Also, it’s a chance to play against great competition in the ACC.

“With coach Doeren and coach Wiles, I love them because they don’t sugarcoat anything and I think they are great coaches. I know they are going to help me be successful on the field and off.”

Larkins originally committed to Minnesota but did not sign with the Gophers back in December. The Pack became involved a couple of weeks ago and he quickly followed that interest up with an official visit to Raleigh this past weekend.

In addition to NC State and Minnesota, Larkins also landed offers from Missouri, Washington State, Purdue, Arkansas, Michigan, and Rutgers, among others.
