RALEIGH, N.C. – Three players from the NC State football team have earned All-ACC honors for 2019, while a fourth player was an honorable mention. DT Larrell Murchison and PK Christopher Dunn were both named to the second-team, while punter Trenton Gill was named to the third-team, and TE Cary Angeline was an honorable mention performer.

Murchison was forced to play multiple positions on the Pack's defensive line this season due to the injuries. He led NC State with seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss on the season, while finishing with 48 tackles overall. His sack total was seventh-best in the ACC, and he ranked 11th in TFLs.Dunn, a sophomore, was named second-team All-ACC for the second year in a row. He connected on 21-of-24 fields goals this season, with an 87.5 percent conversion rate that ranked ninth in the NCAA and second-best in the ACC. His 21 made field goals ranks seventh nationally, and is also the No. two mark in the conference and is second in school history only behind his mark of 23 from last season. A Lou Groza Award semifinalist, Dunn made 11 straight field goals to end the season, with his last miss coming Sept. 28.

In his first season as the Wolfpack's starting punter, Gill led the ACC and ranked fourth nationally with a punting average of 47.6 yards per punt. That average is a new school record, topping the previous mark of 46.1 yards per punt back in 1975. Twenty-four of his 56 punts this season went for 50+ yards, with a season-best of 75.

In addition to those three, TE Cary Angeline received honorable mention honors. Angeline had a team-high five touchdown catches in 2019, second-most among ACC tight ends. He posted career-bests of 25 receptions for 379 yards, both marks that rank among the top five among ACC TEs as well.
