Former Pack Standout Anthony Grundy Passes Away at 40

Former N.C. State guard Anthony Grundy has reportedly passed away at the age of 40.

The Louisville, Ky. native finished his collegiate career with the Wolfpack with 1,641 points, currently ninth in school history. Grundy also accumulated 356 assists in his time with the Red & White, putting him at 13th in school history.

He led the Pack in scoring in his final three years of school, averaging 12.5, 14.6, and 17.8 points per game in those years. Grundy earned All-ACC First Team honors in his senior season in 2002 and also picked up ACC All-Tournament Team honors the same year alongside Archie Miller. Grundy ended his final season as the Wolfpack’s leader in scoring, assists, rebounds, steals, and three-pointers made.
