NC State offensive coordinator Eli Drinkwitz answered five rapid-fire questions from Inside Pack Sports.

How will the offensive line benefit from some of the younger players getting reps?
Yeah, that's the best way to look at it.  Those guys got an opportunity to play, and there's no better teacher than experience. It's been a good thing for us.

How are the guys doing preparing for the noise in Tallahassee?
We practiced with it today but we practiced with it all fall camp too. We knew this was coming. We did it all fall camp, so it won't be new to the guys.

It's going to be a factor, it will be loud... they just need to do a good job of concentrating.

The running game versus Furman, what was your assessment of it?
It did what it needed to do. We accomplished the goals we wanted to accomplish. This week is a new challenge.

How helpful is it to have a weapon like Samuels in the redzone?
He's third or fourth in career touchdowns, or something. That's pretty helpful.

He has a great knack for finding a way into the endzone.  He has that "it" factor, he has great instincts with the ball in his hands.

He's an unselfish player.

What's your impression of Florida State's defense?
Tremendous scheme, tremendous talent... great coaching. They play hard, long.

Their head coach said they are the best defense in the country, and I agree with him.
