NOTES: NC State landed a huge commitment today when local standout Jonathan Adorno decided to pick the Wolfpack.
One of the most coveted players in the state, Adorno held offers from all four Power Five schools in North Carolina along with Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt, among others.
NC State was the first school to offer, and it’s easy to see why the Pack was all in on Adorno.
On film, he’s a plus-athlete who routinely works to the second level and is comfortable blocking in space. He has the nasty streak needed to excel on the offensive line, and he seeks out contact -- another positive trait. Adorno is physical at the point of attack and has the versatility to play guard or tackle, which adds to his value.
He still needs to continue working on his technique and fundamentals, but the upside is there for Adorno to potentially be a multi-year starter in Raleigh.
