COMMIT ALERT: Atticus Taylor Picks NC State
NC State has landed a commitment from Southwest Mississippi CC freshman wing Atticus Taylor, who was on campus this weekend for an official visit.
Taylor played in 17 games this season, averaging 9.0 points and 7.4 rebounds in just 23 minutes a night. He shot 48% from the field, 37% from 3-point range, and 75% from the free throw line – strong numbers for a 6-foot-7, 205-pound wing.
“My biggest strengths are my ability to be able to handle the ball at my size, my IQ, and passing,” he said. “I'm a great rebounder, too. That's one of the main things I do well."
Taylor is NC State’s fifth commitment in the 2019 class, as he joins Jalen Lecque, Dereon Seabron, Pat Andree, and Thomas Allen.
Inside Pack Sports will have more from Taylor on his decision in the near future so stay tuned!
