Grad Transfer Derrik Smits High On NC State After Official Visit

NC State is heavily in the mix for the Valparaiso grad transfer center Derrik Smits‍ after hosting him over the weekend for an official visit.

“I’d say the highlight of the visit was building the relationships with the coaches,” Smits said. “I’m a real relationships person so getting to meet with all the coaches, getting to know them all, that was big for me.
