Redshirt senior wide receiver Jumichael Ramos met with the media after the 49-16 win over Furman.
For me to give back to them what they put in, to be able to score and let those guys know I can still do the things I can do and can help the team however I can.
I was honored to get an opportunity to help out the team.
We planned it in this week. We saw an opportunity with the way their defense plays, for me to go in and make a play on a wheel route.
It was set up for that, and it worked out in my favor.
Being through everything I've been through, I was nervous at times, but I'm long past that and ready to make more plays for the team.
Did that feel like a reward for the hard work?
Yes it did... being out more than 600 days, away from team, not being able to sweat with the guys. It hurt. For me to give back to them what they put in, to be able to score and let those guys know I can still do the things I can do and can help the team however I can.

Was that play designed to go to you?
Yes it was.We planned it in this week. We saw an opportunity with the way their defense plays, for me to go in and make a play on a wheel route.
