COMMIT ALERT: Pack Lands Two-Sport Star Nate McCollum

Two-sport standout Nate Mccollum‍ committed tonight to NC State to play football and baseball for the Wolfpack.

A dynamic athlete at Dutchtown (GA) High School, McCollum can play defensive back or wide receiver.  He was also recruited by Elliott Avent and was on campus this weekend checking out both programs.

McCollum also held offers from Tennessee, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Kansas among others.

It will be football because of the way 'revenue' sports scholarships are structured. BB only has a certain number of scholarships to be divided among the players which means some baseball players will only have a partial scholarship. It also prevents FB or BB from having more scholarship players than allowed by having some on a baseball schollie...
