Torin Dorn, Markell Johnson, and Devon Daniels met with the media after the Wolfpack's loss to Georgia Tech.

NOTE: Click a video above to watcha  specific interview.

Senior Guard Torin Dorn

On how much it hurt to lose after hitting the late three:
“It's tough, especially in a game like that where you feel like you should win. We didn't make enough plays down the stretch or throughout the game to win, so it's definitely tough.”

On the team’s NCAA chances:
“Honestly, I’m not thinking about that right now. We've just got to play better and come together as a team and make the right plays to win games like this.”

On the team’s hot and cold shooting:
“We’ve just got to lock in and make shots. We've got a lot of guys that work extremely hard, so come game time we've just got to lock in and make them.”

On the emotions of senior night:
“I’ve given so much to NC State and it means so much to me to play for these fans, and wanted to send them out with a win. We weren't able to do that, so it's definitely been an emotional rollercoaster today for sure.

Sophomore Guard Devon Daniels

On the team’s shooting struggles:
“We got stagnant a little bit in the second half. There were times that we would just settle for jump shots. I don't think we played inside out enough. We were just settling for outside shots. It’s hard when they know you’re going to be shooting threes the whole time, and you don't have any action going to the rim.”

On Dorn’s late three:
“I really didn't care who took the last shot. I just wanted to play the best defense I could. I just wanted to get a stop, and it didn't happen, so now we owe him one.”

On getting hot from behind the arc:
“It wasn’t surreal. I practice those shots, and we all practice those shots. Basketball is a game of who’s hot and runs. I guess it was just my time to get hot. It wasn’t anything crazy.”

On Dorn’s senior night:
“As soon as the clock hit zero, that was the first thing that came to my mind, is that we owe him one. We wanted this game for Torin, and Torin wanted the game. Now, we owe him one, and it starts tomorrow in practice. We have to prepare better.”

On what the result means for the team’s postseason:
“I said a while back these last games coming up, every one is very important. Like we always say, this was the biggest game of the season, and it hurts to lose it. We’re going to have to bounce back Saturday because every game is really important.”

Junior Guard Markell Johnson

It’s such a long day...
You know you wake up and have a game, but to not play until 9pm it took the whole day.

How tough was Tech’s zone defense?
They played a good zone today. We just weren't hitting shots that we usually make.

Would you have liked to get inside a little more?
Yes I would have liked to get inside a little more.
