UPDATE: Lockett Charged With Assault... Suspended Indefinitely

NC State graduate wing Eric Lockett has been charged with assaulting a female, according to WRAL, who first reported the news.

A 6-foot-5 guard who transferred in out of FIU, Lockett missed the Syracuse game due to a “personal matter.”  

He is averaging 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game this season.

UPDATE: “In light of his arrest this morning, Eric Lockett has been indefinitely suspended from our team. We will await additional information and will have no further comment at the current time.” - Kevin Keatts, NC State men’s basketball Head Coach
