Opening Statement...
We got a lot of shots and just didn’t make shots we normally make. We just weren’t knocking them down.

When you struggle like that you have to pick it up on the defensive end, and we weren’t able to do that in the first half.

What turned it around in the second half?
Our identity... just being able to play hard.

We were able to force them into some turnovers, we shared the ball, and we made some shots we didn’t make in the first.

What is it about this place and that team here that seems to be a problem for you guys?
It’s a tough place to play. Wake looks at us as a rival. They play hard when they play us, but there are certain things we need to do to win games like this on the road.

Thoughts on playing without Markell Johnson...
Our team has a mentality of next man up... we are a pretty deep team.  Everyone has to step up when a guy like that is out, especially Markell.

What did coach tell you guys at halftime?
Just keep fighting... keep fighting until the end.

We closed the gap like we did, we just didn’t make enough plays at the end to win it.

What did he say at the end?
He was disappointed.  To fight back that hard and not pull it out in the end is disappointing.

Thoughts on a big deficit...
You can’t spot teams 22 points and expect to come back and win games.  You have to play from start to finish.
